Welcome to the Faith’s Fruit blog!

Hi! I am LaQuetia Gilliard and am very honored to meet you.  I am a wife & mother and woman who manages with chronic pain.

Being diagnosed with fibromyalgia 10+ years ago has not only tested my faith but also strengthened it.  As this illness has seemingly become progressively worse, I have learned to rest in God more and more.

I want to provide a place for encouragement and also to share things I do to cope and persevere in spite of the pain.

This blog is not just for those who suffer from chronic illnesses but anyone who wants to grow in the Lord.

Thank you in advance to each one of you for joining me on the journey of growing and maturing in Christ.  There are so many challenges for believers to conform to the world and NOT be transformed by the Word of God.  The kingdom of God is seeking individuals who are not going to compromise His Word for the world.  I believe that as we mature in Him, we will be able to stand firm and declare the righteousness of God.  This will allow us to live out Matthew 28: 19-20 which states, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Not I But Christ,

LaQuetia Gilliard

I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Galatians 2:20 NASB
